Hello friends!

Welcome to Cooking with Pat Lee! My name (as if it weren’t obvious) is Pat Lee. I’m a private chef and recipe developer here to bring you recipes that will excite your palate!

Cooking is my love language. Like a true artist and master of their craft, I take a great amount of pride in my work from the presentation to stimulate you visually to the taste and texture.

I understand that not everyone is a pro in the kitchen. Some people have exceptional knife skills and others burn a pot of water with ease. No worries! My recipes range from the simple and easy to the ones that provide a bit of challenge. In any event, every recipe that I provide features in-depth step by step instructions that are easy to follow.

And if you still have trouble following along, feel free to contact me either via email or through my social media channels! I am more than happy to guide you through any of the recipes and empower you to be the best home cook you can be! No matter what your skill level is, there’s a recipe in store for you on my page!

My background

Many of my supporters have the assumption I’ve worked in five star restaurants and went to culinary school. While I genuinely appreciate the kind thoughts, the truth is, my journey started four years ago.

I’ve been cooking since I was seven years old, learning techniques and recipes from my grandmother, mother, and aunts. Although I was born and raised in New York City, my family’s traditional southern roots influenced a great deal of my cooking and values. We didn’t have much, but we had food on the table and it made us grateful for the little things in life we take for granted often. I loved learning about cooking and the industry but I never took it upon myself to grow beyond that.

Fast forward to 2020.

I worked in the financial industry for over a decade with jobs ranging from senior management to consultation. I lost my job during the pandemic and like many people impacted financially, I had to tighten my budget. Cooking food at home was a must and I began to do it more. As I began to cook more, I found myself recording my recipes and taking photos to analyze my cooking. From there, I thought to myself “What if I shared this with the world”? From there, I began posting my recipes on social media and turned that into what we now have as a community built on culinary education and a shared love of food!

Your support over the last four years has been nothing short of incredible! If you would like to further support me, here are some easy ways to do so!

  • Rate and review my recipes. This allows me to know what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to be adjusted.
  • Follow me on my social media platforms.
  • Tag me. I love seeing your stories and shares of my content. If you’re kind enough to share and like, I will respond, repost, or acknowledge your efforts.
  • I will also be posting and sharing affiliate links. These links offer a small commission on my end that allow me to keep this page running. If you happen to make any purchases from my recommendations, I just ask that you use the links accordingly.
  • Word of mouth. Please share my site and recipes with your friends, family, and on your social media pages! These recipes will continue to be free for you and I want you to have as much access to creating these dishes without any hassle.
