A flavorful dip made for any occasion.
Whenever I think of appetizers for parties, I think wings, sliders, and dip. A good dip in my opinion sets the tone for the rest of the appetizers. This recipe for caramelized onion dip is so delicious and flavorful!
- The caramelized onions– The caramelized onions sets this dish off! It’s jam packed with flavor. The longer the onions caramelize, the more intense the flavor gets.
- It’s low maintenance cooking– Seriously! The only cooking that needs to be done is caramelizing the onions. The only thing after that is putting together everything in a bowl. That’s it!

- White onions
- Water
- Butter
- Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Worcestershire sauce
- Cream cheese
- Mayo
- Sour cream
- As mentioned previously, the longer the onions caramelize, the better tasting the dip. I cook mine for about 40 minutes.
- Let the dip chill for at least four hours. This allows it to fully develop the flavors. It’s not a caramelized onion dip recipe without developed flavors!
