The juiciest most flavorful chicken thighs you’ll ever try!
Nothing beats the juiciness, flavor, and sweetness of BBQ chicken thighs! The sauce and marinade are delicious! I love the homemade taste!
- The marinade– The secret to this recipe is the marinade! Fresh vegetables, aromatics, and seasoning give these thighs the ultimate flavor.
- The sauce– The sauce is homemade meaning you control the sweetness, spicy, and tanginess. It pairs well with chicken thighs.
My preference of cooking these chicken thighs
Personally, I prefer to cook these in the oven.
I always recommend starting off on the stove to give those chicken thighs a good sear first, and finish the cooking process in the oven. This will help to get that skin nice and crispy!

- Bone-in chicken thighs
- Tequila (I’d personally recommend Teremana. Here’s a link below for reference).
- Lemon
- Vegetables (Carrots, Celery, Peppers, Garlic Cloves)
- As with most of my chicken recipes, it’s all about the marinade. Let the marinade sit overnight for the best results with your chicken thighs!
- Get whatever tequila fits your budget. I would recommend Teremana.
- Sear your chicken first. This will help crisp up the skin.
